TOBB has entered a new era of cooperation with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) through a partnership agreement. This agreement aims to support micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Türkiye and beyond.

One of the key benefits of this partnership is the five-point action plan that outlines shared commitments between ICC and TOBB. This plan includes making ICC learning programmes more accessible, customising the Joint ICC and International Trade Centre Digital Export Enablement Programme (DEEP) to the needs of Turkish SMEs, and exploring ways of promoting ICC Genesis and ICC Certificate of Origin Chain in Türkiye.

Here are some of the specific commitments outlined in the action plan:

  • Make ICC learning programmes more accessible via inclusion on the TOBB University of Economics and Technology.
  • Customise the Joint ICC, and International Trade Centre Digital Export Enablement Programme (DEEP) to the needs of Turkish SMEs.
  • Explore ways of promoting ICC Genesis, ICC’s pioneering self-certification tool supporting the Origin declaration customs process, as well as the ICC Certificate of Origin Chain in Türkiye.
