Tesla is recalling a massive 1.8 million cars due to safety concerns. This is a significant move by the company, and it's essential to understand the reasons behind it.

The recall affects various models, including the Model S, Model X, Model 3, and Model Y. These vehicles were manufactured between 2017 and 2022.

Tesla Recalls Vehicles

Tesla has recalled over 1.8 million vehicles in the US due to a software issue that could cause the hood to open unexpectedly.

The vehicles affected by this recall are the 2021-2024 Model 3, Model S, Model X, and 2020-2024 Model Y.

Tesla has released an over-the-air software update to fix the issue, which will be sent to customers automatically.

The recall applies to certain 2021-2024 Model 3, Model S, Model X, and 2020-2024 Model Y vehicles.

More than 11,000 Cybertrucks were affected by the recall, in addition to nearly 4,000 Cybertrucks recalled in April for a separate issue.
