The Monroe County Sheriff's Office identified the two children killed as siblings Alanah Phillips, 8, and Zayn Phillips, 4.

They died at the scene, police said.

Jayden, a nephew of Harrington's, had a long surgery on Sunday and will have a tough recovery ahead, but he is awake and with his family.

Mariah, also a family member, is now awake but still has a long recovery ahead of her.

The fundraiser was shared on Berlin Charter Township's Facebook page.

One donor expressed the impact of the accident, saying "one bad decision can affect so many" and referencing the suspected driver's alleged years of bad decisions.
