The Moriwaki Honda GB350 Racer is a stunning machine. It's a modern café racer with a svelte design and a sound that's simply addictive.

The bike was built by Moriwaki Engineering as part of their Project Tetsuuma, which translates to "iron horse" in kanji. Moriwaki took the GB350 S and modified it to get it ready for the track.

One of the key modifications was swapping the stock 19-inch front wheel for a 17-inch unit, which significantly improved the bike's handling. This was a deliberate choice to make the bike a wicked track weapon.

The Moriwaki Honda GB350 Racer boasts a unique blue and yellow paint scheme that represents Moriwaki colors. The color gradient flowing from tank to tail is a sight to behold, even in photos.

In 1981, the creator was just an eleven-year-old boy who witnessed a Kawasaki Z1000 being rebuilt by Moriwaki Engineering. This experience left a lasting impression on him, and he's now paying homage to that era of Japanese road racing.

The homage build is based on a Kawasaki Z1000, just like the one that inspired its creator. It features a Z1000h tank, a mk2 tail section, and a front guard, all of which were sourced from various places to keep costs low.

The frame of the homage build is a GPz1100 Unitrak frame that's been modified to fit the Kawasaki Z1000 components. It's a testament to the creativity and resourcefulness of the build's creator.

The bike's paint job is a matte blue finish, courtesy of Chris Davison, who applied the Moriwaki-themed design. It's a subtle nod to the original Moriwaki Engineering builds, but with a unique twist.
