The Companhia Docas do Pará (CDP) has partnered with the Universidade do Estado do Pará (Uepa) to monitor the quality of water in four important ports in the state: Belém, Miramar, Outeiro, and Barcarena.
The partnership aims to provide technical excellence in monitoring the quality of water resources in these areas. The Uepa will conduct periodic analyses of the water bodies in these areas and produce monthly reports to support the CDP's environmental management.

The LabÁgua, a reference laboratory in Amazonian water research, will lead the work on this project. This lab is known for its expertise in researching Amazonian waters.
The CDP's director-president, Jardel Silva, sees this contract as strategic for the company, ensuring the continuous production of environmental data that will allow for precise monitoring of the water dynamics in their operational areas.
