Comcast allows you to view your bill history online, which can be accessed through the My Account section of the Comcast website.

You can see a breakdown of your past bills, including the date, amount due, and payment status. This can be helpful in tracking your payments and identifying any discrepancies.

To access your bill history, you'll need to log in to your My Account page with your username and password. From there, you can select the "Billing" option and choose the specific bill you want to view.

Your bill history will show you the total amount due for each bill, as well as any payments you've made.

Understanding Your Bill

You can find your recent bill by tapping Current Statement or your previous bill by tapping Statement History in the Comcast app. This option is located between Your Activity and Your Plan.

To view your invoices, statements, and adjustments, log into your Client Account Portal and navigate to Enterprise Documents. Use the filters to display the documents you're looking for.

You can download and save your documents to your own computer by using the download arrow next to the document in the Client Account Portal.

Difference Between Statement and Invoice Summary

A statement from Comcast Advertising lists all outstanding invoices, both new and past due, as well as any unapplied cash.

Statements are uploaded for your review once a month.

An invoice summary is an Excel list detailing the invoices that were uploaded to CAP.

What Does Pending Mean in Pay My Bill?

You'll see "pending" next to the invoice number of a payment you've already made, but that has not been processed yet.

If a payment is marked as pending, it's because the payment processing system is still waiting for confirmation from your bank or financial institution.

A pending payment is not considered final until it has been successfully processed, so be patient and keep an eye out for updates.

Bill Details and Payments

To view your Comcast bill details and make payments, you'll want to navigate to the Client Account Portal (CAP). You can access CAP by clicking on the "Pay My Bill" icon, which is a new feature designed to make it easy to manage your payments.

To view your invoices, statements, and adjustments, navigate to "Enterprise Documents" in the left-hand navigation pane and use the filters to display the documents you're looking for. You can also download and save your documents to your own computer by using the download arrow to the far right of the document.

You can pay your bill in several ways, including paying an existing invoice, pre-paying for future schedules, or setting up a recurring payment for the same day each month. To do this, click on the "Pay My Bill" icon and select the option that works best for you.

All your invoices from June 2020 forward will be available on the Client Account Portal, but if you need access to documentation prior to June 2020, you can find it on Box.com until September 1st, 2021.

Making Payments

Making Payments is a straightforward process. Click the new "Pay My Bill" icon to get started.

If you have an existing invoice you'd like to pay, select "Pay Existing." This option allows you to settle your current balance.

You can also pay for future schedules using the "Pre-Pay" option. This is a good choice if you know you'll have a service scheduled in the near future.

For those who prefer to set up recurring payments, the "Recurring Payment" option is available. This allows you to schedule a payment for the same day each month, making it easy to stay on top of your payments.

Payment Timing and Posting

Payments are made on Day 1, they are processed next day (Day 2) and will show completed (without "Pending" verbiage) on your account Day 3.

To help you keep track, here's a breakdown of the payment timeline:

You'll see "pending" next to the invoice number of a payment you've already made, but that has not been processed yet. This means the payment has been made, but the processing is still in progress.

You can view your recent Comcast bill by tapping "Current Statement" or your previous bill by tapping "Statement History" in the Xfinity app.

The Xfinity app is available for download on Google Play or the App Store, and allows customers to view their bills and make payments.

If you're having trouble accessing your previous account's billing statements, the Xfinity app may not be able to retrieve them if you no longer have service at that address.

You can also view your invoices, statements, and adjustments by logging into CAP (Client Account Portal) and navigating to "Enterprise Documents" in the left-hand navigation pane.

Access from Previous Address

You can't access billing statements from a previous address through Xfinity's online portal if you no longer have service at that address.

The industry standard for maintaining records is 10 years, but Xfinity's policy is not explicitly stated.

You can try submitting a request for older billing statements, but there's no guarantee they'll be available.

A customer service agent may be able to assist you in accessing older statements, but this may involve an inquiry process.

Xfinity's 18-month statement retrieval online policy is in place, but it's unclear if this applies to statements from previous addresses.

It may take contacting Xfinity's customer service directly to resolve issues with accessing previous billing statements.

Previous customers who have tried to access statements from their old addresses have reported mixed results, with some being unable to access the statements even after contacting customer service.
