China National Gold Group Corporation (CNGC) is a significant player in the global gold mining industry. Its primary domestic mining assets include the Chang Shan Hao (CSH) Gold Mine in Inner Mongolia, which achieved commercial production in July 2008.

The CNGC's domestic operations also include the Jiama Copper-Gold Mine in Tibet Autonomous Region, which produces a variety of metals including copper, gold, molybdenum, silver, lead, and zinc. Unfortunately, a landslide at the site in 2013 resulted in the loss of 83 workers.
