Will Wood and the Tapeworms is a 5-piece American indie rock band from New Jersey. The band is currently signed to Tooth & Nail Records and have released two EPs and one full-length album.

The band started in early 2015 as a 2-piece acoustic duo consisting of singer/songwriter Will Wood and drummer Pat Galle. The two had played together in various bands throughout high school and college, but Will Wood and the Tapeworms was the first project where they both contributed equally to the songwriting.

The duo quickly gained popularity in the New Jersey DIY scene, playing shows with bands like Pronoun, Oso Oso, and mewithoutYou. In 2016, they released their debut EP, I'm Afraid of Everything, which was well-received by critics and fans alike.

In 2017, the band added three new members - guitarist Steve Dorn, bassist Mike Dorn, and keyboardist/vocalist Katie Dorn - and released their second EP, The Devil and Death. The expanded lineup allowed the band to experiment with new sounds and textures, and the EP received even more positive reviews than their debut.

The band's debut album, Will Wood and the Tapeworms, was released in 2018 to critical acclaim. The album showcased the band's growth as songwriters and performers, and featured some of their best-known songs like "BerserkButton" and "Oh, the Horror!".

The band is currently touring in support of their debut album, and they show no signs of slowing down. If you haven't seen them live, you're in for a treat - Will Wood and the Tapeworms is a band that is not to be missed.

What was the hardest part about planning the tour?

The hardest part about planning the tour was finding the right venues. We wanted to make sure that the venues were big enough to accommodate our large group, but also intimate enough that our fans would feel like they were part of the experience. We also had to take into account the logistics of traveling from city to city and make sure that everything was coordinated perfectly. In the end, it all came together and we had an amazing tour.

What were some of the challenges you faced during the tour?

One of the challenges I faced during the tour was getting enough rest. When we first started off on the tour, we were all really excited and wound up from all of the adrenaline. This made it hard for us to fall asleep at night, which in turn made it hard for us to be well rested for the shows. As the tour went on, we all got more and more tired, and it became harder and harder to push through and give it our all on stage. Another challenge was dealing with the different personalities on tour. When you're on tour with a bunch of people for such a long time, it's inevitable that there will be some conflict. We all had to learn how to deal with each other's quirks and learn to compromise when it came to things like what time we went to bed, what we did on our days off, etc. Overall, I think the challenges we faced on tour only made us stronger as a band and as friends.

What was the best part of the tour?

The best part of the tour was definitely the stops we made along the way. We got to see so many amazing things and the tour guide was really knowledgeable about all of them. The scenery was breathtaking and it was great to have someone to point out all the interesting facts. We also made some great friends on the tour and had a lot of fun together. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

How do you finance a start-up business?

Drawing money from your personal savings is a bootstrapping option for financing a start-up business. This means you use your own money to finance the startup, rather than borrowing money from an outside source. The con is that it can be tough to generate enough cash flow to cover expenses without taking on some form of debt support.

Why did you choose finance as a career?

I chose finance as a career because I love numbers and understanding how money works. I also enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems, and I think finance is one of the most challenging fields to work in. I believe that the money you can earn in finance is very impressive, but it’s not the sole or the primary reason why I decided to pursue this career.

Why do we need to travel?

The answer to this question is quite simple. We need to travel in order to learn and experience new things.
