Although I never had the opportunity to watch the popular anime series Sailor Moon, I'm an avid reader so naturally, I was interested in getting to know each of the Sailor Guardian characters. After reading about the series and its characters, I discovered that although you can relate aspects of your personality to each character, my personality most closely aligns with Sailor Saturn.
Like me, Sailor Saturn has an introverted side and values alone time. However, she is a caring individual who is protective and loyal of her friends and willing to put herself on the line when people she loves are in danger. Beyond that, she doesn't let her seemingly introverted nature prevent her from embracing life and having adventures – both of which I also strive to do.
Moreover, one of the biggest similarities we undoubtedly share is our often serious outlook on life. A big strength we both share is that we understand that life can be difficult but don't allow it to take away our optimism or ability to keep fighting. We both also possess a level head on our shoulders and don't let our emotions control us when faced with tough decisions.
Ultimately, Sailor Saturn's boldness in spite of her shyness and vulnerabilities, strengths of character in moments of doubt and underlying optimism for the future completely resonates with me. While other sailor guardians may have some similar traits as mine or could benefit me in some way; I feel confident when I say Sailor Saturn’s determined personality most closely matches my own essence as a person!

The answer to this question largely depends on individual style, but one thing that all Sailor Guardians have in common is that they have style and strength. Each one exudes confidence, determination, and passion while also showing creativity and flair in their wardrobes. The one I think best represents my style is Sailor Jupiter. She symbolizes strength and power, making her the perfect force of nature for protecting the set of Sailor Guardians. In addition to her vibrant yet still conservative wardrobe choices, she is the epitome of grace under pressure – a trait I admire greatly.
Moreover, Jupiter has a certain wildness to her that I find incredibly beautiful and inspiring. When I wear bold colors and pieces with interesting details or textures, I'm channeling some of her confident flair for me-time or for night out with my girlfriends; when I throw on something comfortable like sweatpants or jeans for an afternoon at home, it's an expression of her relaxed yet still stylish spirit. While many people think fashion is about “following trends” - at the core it really comes down to each individual’s definition of stylishness; for me personally that definition is closely linked to my inner-most representation which internally looks a lot like Sailor Jupiter - even if it doesn't transpire outwardly in every clothing choice that I make.
you were a Sailor Guardian, which one would you be?
If I were to become a Sailor Guardian, I would be Sailor Mars. Sailor Mars is an independent and loyal fighter who stands fearlessly against any foe. She is constantly striving to protect the things she believes in, while also valuing others’ opinions and concerns. Her dedication, determination and passionate fire make her a powerful heroine that is capable of facing any challenge. She stands for truth and justice, never wavering from her position nor her goal.
Sailor Mars represents courage, passion and devotion - three qualities I personally strive for in my own life. There is something unique about being able to stand up for your beliefs fearlessly and fight against injustice that can be deeply inspirational to witness. The strength of her convictions means she confronts crisis with self-assurance and surety of purpose - something I admire deeply.
Her fiery spirit embodies the best of human potential: bravery, loyalty and courage in the face of danger. To witness such commitment to integrity is a great honor – one that drives me to uphold my own values in every situation I encounter. To become a true warrior of justice like Sailor Mars would mean upholding this creed every day – something I aspire to do through thoughtfulness, action, compassion and respect for all those around me.

While it might sound like nothing more than a fun game to play with your friends, there’s actually some thought and deeper meaning behind each transformation phrase.
Your Sailor Guardian transformation phrase would be the key to unlocking your inner power and strength–a way of empowering yourself and gaining control over the chaos that surrounds you. It should be made up of three parts: an element symbol, a keyword representing your physical or spiritual identity, and an expression of power or intention.
For example: Water – Strength – Unite! This phrase could be used when meditating or for any situation where you need to feel empowered and confident in yourself. In addition to explaining the deeper meaning behind each phrase, it’s also important to keep in mind that your transformation phrase should reflect characteristics that you associate with yourself: strong-willed, courageous, graceful… whatever it is that defines you!

If I had the power of one of the Sailor Guardian, without a doubt, I would choose Sailor Moon (Sailor Guardian of the Moon). As part of her transformation, she is granted incredible power, including superhuman strength and agility. This strength, in particular, would come in handy since I'm naturally quite weak. Additionally, incredible wisdom has also been bestowed upon her. The ability to see through other people's false or disguised intentions and false promises would prove invaluable in various everyday situations.
However, some might suggest taking on the powers of another Sailor Guardian; Venus (Guardian of Love & Beauty). Astral projection is one of the many powers bestowed upon her. It allows her to transport her astral form anywhere in the world. With this ability, one can go on a journey around the world and explore far-away lands with ease without ever leaving home!
Ultimately chosen Sailor Moon as my favorite guardian because her intelligence and strength are qualities that are always useful but never tiring. No matter how difficult a situation that I may be faced with, these attributes will ensure that I have all-around coverage in any case. Although there may be other sailor guardians with even more powerful abilities than Sailor Moon; it's important to keep in mind that no gift ever beats versatility!
you had to cosplay as a Sailor Guardian, which one would you choose?
If I had to choose a Sailor Guardian to cosplay as, the clear choice for me would be Sailor Neptune! Not only does she bear an exceptional resemblance to me, with her long blue hair and aquatic theme, but she is also one of the few female Sailors with a mysterious background. Her tragic story of loss and redemption sets her apart from her colleagues and provides a depth of drama that appeals to my sensibilities.
Adding to my decision to cosplay as Sailor Neptune is her power as a guardian. While all other Sailors wear weapons, Neptune wields a beautiful conch shell which serves as both a defensive weapon and an offensive tool. She has several specialized techniques like Submarine Reflection and Deep Submerge which can help her in difficult battles — something I believe would be deeply satisfying to portray when performing at conventions!
Finally, while Neptune is not always centrally positioned in much of the story arcs within the Sailor Guardians series, it would be an exciting challenge for me personally to bring more attention to her character through cosplay. After all, who wouldn’t want to bring more awareness around such a mysterious and beautiful warrior? I can’t think of any other character more fulfilling or appropriate for me than Sailor Neptune!
