When I was fair and young, I never thought that I would age. I never imagined that my skin would one day be wrinkled and my hair would be gray. I never thought that I would need to use reading glasses or that I would have to rely on others to help me get around. But, here I am, an elderly woman, and I have to accept that this is my reality. My body may not be what it once was, but I am still the same person inside. I may not be able to do all the things I used to do, but I still have my memories and I can still enjoy the simple things in life.

I remember when I was a young girl, growing up in a small town. There was not much to do, so we would often find ourselves exploring the woods or swimming in the river. We would stay out until the stars came out, and then we would race each other home. Those were the days when I felt truly alive.

I remember my first love. His name was Michael, and he was the most beautiful boy I had ever seen. We would spend hours talking, and I was sure that I was going to marry him one day. But then he left for college and I never saw him again.

I remember getting married and having children. I remember the joy and the challenges that came with raising a family. I remember the pride I felt when my children accomplished something or when they made me laugh.

And now, I find myself at the end of my life. I am grateful for the many blessing I have received, and I am at peace with the fact that my time on this earth is coming to an end. I may not be able to do everything I once could, but I am still here. I am still alive, and I am still able to enjoy the simple things in life.

My favorite fair memory is from when I was eight years old. I went on the ferris wheel with my dad and we got stuck at the very top. How did you feel when you won your first ribbon?

It was a cool autumn day when I won my first ribbon. I remember the excitement I felt as I ran to the field to meet my pony. I was so proud of him and I could not wait to show him off. When I arrived at the field, I saw my friends and their ponies already lined up. I could feel the anticipation in the air.

The announcer called our class and we lined up at the starting gate. I was so nervous I thought I might vomit. When the race began, my pony took off like a shot and I held on for dear life. We rounded the first turn and I could see we were in the lead. As we crossed the finish line, I heard the crowd cheering. I had won!

I cant describe the feeling that came over me as I accepted that ribbon. It was pride, joy, elation, and relief all rolled into one. I was so happy I had won and that my pony had run so well. It was a moment I will never forget.

The fair is a place where you can let loose and have some fun. There are so many games to choose from, and it can be hard to decide which one to play. I always enjoyed playing the game where you had to throw a ball into a bucket. It was simple, but it was also a lot of fun. I also liked playing the game where you had to shoot a water gun at a target. Again, it was simple, but it was also a lot of fun. As a child, my favorite food to eat at the fair was always cotton candy. There was something about the way the fluffy pink sugar dissolved on my tongue that was just irresistible. I would beg my parents for a few dollars so that I could buy a big bag of cotton candy, and then I would carefully ration it out so that it would last the entire day.

These days, my favorite food to eat at the fair is a giant pretzel. I love the way the salty dough tastes, and the way the warm pretzel pairs so well with a cold beer. I usually get my pretzel from the same stand every year, and the owners always remember me and give me a big smile.

When I was younger, my family would go to the fair every year. We would go on all the rides and play all the games. And, of course, we would eat all the fair food. One of the things I looked forward to the most was winning a prize. I would always spend a lot of time at the shooting gallery, trying to win a stuffed animal. I never did win one, but I had a lot of fun trying. My favorite prize to win was a goldfish. I won one at the ring toss game. I named him Goldie and took very good care of him. He lived for three years. I was so proud of myself for winning him and taking such good care of him. Every time I went to the fair after that, I would try to win another goldfish, but I never did. I guess that's why they're called goldfish.

The brain makes memories because your molecules, cells, and synapses can tell time. This might seem like a weird thing to say. But it’s actually an idea that’s been around for quite a while. It goes by the name of temporal binding theory, and it was first proposed in the 1970s by two Japanese scientists named Kanzaki and Natsukawa. That includes things like excitement and nervousness, as well as Moments That Matter (MTM)—those specific details about the day that stand out most in
