There's no doubt that the Netflix hit Stranger Things has created some very iconic characters over the course of its four seasons. From Eleven and Dustin to Hopper and Joyce, everyone can probably relate to at least one of them. But if you were to ask me which character I'm most like, my answer is none other than Maxine "Max" Mayfield!
For starters, Max and I share a lot of the same traits. We're both strong-willed girls who don't take crap from anyone! We stick up for ourselves and our friends when it matters most. Like Max portrayed by Sadie Sink throughout her run on Stranger Things, I'm not afraid to speak my mind or speak out against what isn't right. We both thrive in problem-solving situations and prefer taking action over sitting back while others decide our fate.
But what sets us apart is our love for skateboarding (which while wearing an adorable orange safety helmet!), playing video games, roller skating in the Starcourt Mall with Lucas or just generally being geeky together with her stepbrother Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) - things that I can totally relate to in modern day life! There's also a softer side to Max that only those closest know about; one that embraces vulnerability alongside strength & charisma - something all too relatable as well. All these subtle nuances found within her character really made it easy for me personally connect with this friendly girl from Hawkins Indiana even when she was having trouble fully adjusting into life outside Hawkins Lab at first!
Which character from Stranger Things 4 do you most relate to?
As a fan of Stranger Things, it’s difficult to choose just one character from the fourth season that I most relate to. However, if I had to pick one, it would have to be Joyce Byers. During the fourth season of Stranger Things, we witness Joyce struggling with her own mental health issues as she continues her journey of grappling with the supernatural occurrences in Hawkins that has become such an integral part of her life. Although the supernatural elements make for an interesting storyline and thrilling plot points, what truly resonates with me is watching as Joyce struggles every day to find balance in a world where so much seems uncertain and chaotic.
It’s easy for me to sympathize with Joyces feelings when faced with adversity and carrying on despite feeling overwhelmed by all that life throws at us at times. As someone who constantly pushes themselves both professionally and personally, maintaining my well-being can be a challenge even in “normal" life circumstances. As these moments become more frequent, scenes like those featuring Joyce remind me not only am I not alone but that while I may need help or support from time-to-time is nothing wrong or weak in asking for it when needed - something which can be so hard sometimes yet makes all the difference in my ability cope along my own journey through everyday life - just like Joyce did through hers within Stranger Things 4!
Describe a Stranger Things 4 character that resembles you.
A Stranger Things 4 character that closely resembles me is Vesper. This character is the definition of witty and daring; constantly seeking knowledge and taking risks. Like myself, Vesper has an expressive nature, never shying away from expressing her opinion or speaking out against societal norms. Her thirst for knowledge is quite similar to mine—whether it’s reading about history or science, she desires to understanding any hidden secrets the world holds.
Working hard to uncover a world brimming with unseen opportunities, Vesper strives for excellence in all aspects of life. For instance, she takes on responsibilities without hesitation if it means bringing justice and progress to others—a trait I confidently embody as well when reflecting on my daily life choices and pursuits. Moreover, reminding me of myself, she isn't afraid to make mistakes if they lead towards meaningful advancement; a physical embodiment of executing success through trial-and-error in order to efficiently reach desired goals no matter what stands in the way.
Ultimately, this Stranger Things 4 character mirrors my ambitious outlook on life and determination towards pursuing passions no matter what stands in the way—an idea that I believe can be found embedded deep within our collective human psyche!
What Stranger Things 4 personality traits do you possess?
I think I share a few of the main personality traits that many of the characters on Stranger Things 4 possess. Firstly, I have a strong sense of loyalty. Much like some of the characters in the show, I always make sure to stick to my commitments and friends and family come first for me no matter what. In addition to this, I am naturally curious like some of my favorite characters from the series; especially when it comes to exploring new places or situations – whether that be physical or virtual. Finally, I have a courage unlike any other; much like Mike Wheeler and his gang who are determined make sure that no matter what kind of danger they find themselves in, they will persevere till the very end. With these traits combined together, all these qualities form who I am today – something that Stranger Things 4 has affirmed for me personally!
If you could be a Stranger Things 4 character, who would you be?
If I had the opportunity to be a character in Stranger Things 4, I would without hesitation, choose to be Joyce Byers. The show's matriarch, who raised three children on her own in the small town of Hawkins and was the driving force behind saving her son and all of Hawkins from supernatural disaster.
As a strong minded single mother with a sense of justice, she persevered through every challenge that came her way and never shied away from standing up for what she believed in. Despite being reluctant to get involved at first, she eventually embraced her role as one of the main figures in fighting against evil forces when push came to shove. Joyce’s tenacity resonates deeply with me since I can often relate to feeling challenged by adversity but powering through thanks to self-determination and belief in what’s right - even when it comes with great personal cost and sacrifice.
Aside from being such an important moral compass for so many people whose lives have been touched by this show (including myself!), Joyce is also wonderfully 3 dimensional – possessing both strength of conviction along with moments of vulnerability within the same breath. Her unique combination ensures that no two situations are handled the same way while giving us permission as viewers or readers alike – to equally experience joyfulness when things are going our way along an equal dose of emotion during harder moments we may encounter later on down our own paths!
What would be your role within the Stranger Things 4 cast?
If I were to join the cast of Stranger Things 4, I would love to play an investigative journalist tasked with uncovering the truth behind all the insane happenings in Hawkins and its surrounding areas. My character would be someone snarky yet inquisitive – one who is determined to get to the heart of any mystery that comes their way. There'd be no boundaries when it comes to seeking out answers – no matter how dangerous a path I have to take in order to get them. The best part about my role? My character gets to team up with our favorite heroes from Stranger Things 3, helping them fight off hordes of new monsters and mysteries lurking around Hawkins – as well as some from old episodes! While some mysteries stem from away creatures in an alternate dimension called The Upside Down, many will come from within our own realm; uncovering secrets that have been hidden for years could prove key in saving Hawkins once again.
How would your Stranger Things 4 character contribute to the story?
My Stranger Things 4 character would bring an unpredictable element to the story. Despite appearing as a mystery, they would demonstrate trustworthiness and an immense will to help their friends. As the series progresses, they would often provide support in unlikely scenarios with impressive courage, wit and determination.
Not much of their personal past is known at first, however it is soon revealed that they have a deep connection to Hawkins – proving themselves useful numerous times during the fight against supernatural threats posed by The Mind-Flayer's return. They endear themselves quickly to their old friends who welcome them back with open arms; providing assistance through playful banter but also when necessary in serious crises.
They are resourceful when it comes to tracking down El and her allies as she continues her onslaught against The Mind Flayer; leading some of the group's adventures towards solution - offering much needed optimism amidst despair. Their experience navigating difficult feats provide everyone with hope throughout this season as they work together against all odds hoping for a happier outcome than before.
My Stranger Things 4 character is ultimately devoted not only to these friendships but also protecting Hawkins from further destruction - inspiring everyone around them with just how far they are willing to go for justice and peace on behalf of those whom they care about most dearly.
