I always try to have aapples or grapes with my lunch as well. As for drinks I generally will have either iced tea or water. I never have soda or any sort of juice with lunch because I feel it's just too much sugar.

I always have my lunch at home, because I live close enough to my job that it's not worth it to me to go out to eat and spend the money when I can just as easily brown bag it. I do think that going out to lunch can be a nice treat though, especially on Fridays. It's a nice way to break up the work week and can be a fun social event with co-workers.

In terms of lunchtime, I am usually pretty flexible. I don't like to eat right at 12pm because I find that I get really sleepy if I do. So usually I will wait until about 12:30 or 1pm to eat.
