Chris Wilson, the Brewmaster at Weyerbacher Brewing, is leaving his position to join Free Will Brewing Co. as their Chief Production Officer.

He'll be starting his new role soon, but will first be transitioning out of his position at Weyerbacher Brewing.

Chris Wilson joined Weyerbacher Brewing in 2004, and quickly worked his way up the brewing ranks.

He was instrumental in helping Weyerbacher grow into a regional craft brewery, and was responsible for creating award-winning beers like Sunday Morning Stout and Imperial Pumpkin Ale.

Weyerbacher will have its current brewing and production teams fill the void left by Wilson's departure.

Free Will Brewing Co. is an independently owned production brewery with a taproom, based in Perkasie, PA, and produces craft ales, lagers, and sour/wild ales.

Their offerings are currently distributed in several states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington, D.C.

Chris Wilson will be joining a brewery that already has a strong presence in the region.
