The West Riding Automobile Company had a diverse fleet of vehicles, with a preference for Leyland vehicles in later years. They worked with various manufacturers, including Guy, Bristol, AEC, and Daimler.
The company was involved in the development of the Guy Wulfrunian from 1959 onwards, producing 126 of the 137 vehicles made. They also acquired 6 second-hand vehicles of this model.

Preservation and Legacy
The West Riding Wulfrunians have a special place in the hearts of preservationists, and for good reason. Only a small number of these buses were sold on for further service, but one of them, WHL 970, made it to preservation and has been thoroughly restored to its original livery.
WHL 970 is a notable survivor, having passed through several operators before being sold into preservation. It's now on display at the Dewsbury Bus Museum, looking as good as new in its original West Riding red ex-tramway services livery.
UCX 275, the other surviving Wulfrunian, has an interesting history of its own. It was new to County Motors of Lepton in 1961, but only stayed with them for a year before being passed to West Riding.
UCX 275 has been preserved in its original green fleet livery, and is a testament to the dedication of the West Riding Wulfrunian Preservation Society.
