SpaceX is gearing up for a busy week with back-to-back Starlink launches scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.

The first launch is set to take place on Wednesday, with a Falcon 9 rocket expected to lift off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.

SpaceX is planning to launch a total of 52 Starlink satellites on Wednesday's mission.

SpaceX Launches

SpaceX has been on a roll this week, launching three Falcon 9 rockets in just four days. The second of these launches happened yesterday, February 2, 2022, when SpaceX sent a National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) satellite to orbit.

The first of these launches occurred just two days earlier, delivering an Italian Earth observation satellite called CSG-2 to orbit from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This was a busy week for SpaceX, with another launch planned for today.

You can catch the action live on YouTube or directly on SpaceX's website, with the webcast starting about 15 minutes before liftoff, scheduled for 18:13 UTC (1:13 p.m. EST) on February 3.

Wednesday Launch

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket on a Wednesday, a typical day for the company's launches. This particular launch was a routine one, carrying a payload of 60 Starlink satellites into orbit.

The Falcon 9 rocket used for this launch had previously flown on a mission in 2020. It was a reused rocket, a common practice for SpaceX to reduce costs and minimize waste.

The launch took place at 10:59 PM EST, a late-night launch that allowed the rocket to avoid interference from air traffic.

Thursday Launch

SpaceX is launching 49 of its Starlink internet satellites today from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
