Gold Price Hits Record Ahead of US-China Talks
Gold prices have reached a record high ahead of US-China trade talks. This is a significant development for Rio Alto Mining, a company that has seen its gold reserves increase in value.
The gold price surge is attributed to investor uncertainty and a weakening US dollar. This makes gold a more attractive investment option.
Investors are closely watching the US-China talks, which could have a major impact on global markets. Rio Alto Mining's gold reserves are likely to benefit from this increased demand.
The current gold price is $1,300 per ounce, a record high that is expected to continue. This is good news for Rio Alto Mining shareholders.

Mining Operations
Rio2 Limited is planning to build a large-scale heap leach gold operation at its Fenix gold mine in Chile.
The Fenix deposit has a massive 389 million tonnes of ore grading 0.38 grams per tonne gold, which translates to 4.8 million measured and indicated ounces.
Rio2 aims to pump out 91,000 ounces of gold per year at a higher grade of 0.54g/t for 12 years, and an average of 82,000 ounces per year at 0.48g/t gold over 17 years.
The company has secured a US$25m gold stream loan, which will be repaid at a rate of 15,000 ounces per year for seven years, and also has access to an extra US$20m as a standby loan facility.
Rio2's all-in sustaining cost per ounce is expected to be highly competitive, making West Perth miners green with envy.
