The Gurugram administration has taken a stern stance against Raheja developers for failing to pay for structural audits of two of their 'unsafe' societies. The issue dates back to 2022, when Raheja Vedanta and Raheja Atharva were declared unsafe.

Raheja Vedanta in Sector 108 and Raheja Atharva in Sector 109 were found to have structural concerns after a visual audit. The builder was required to fund the second phase of the audit, but they haven't paid the requested amounts since then.

The amounts due are Rs 56.87 lakh for Raheja Vedanta and Rs 20.41 lakh for Raheja Atharva. Raheja representatives sought 20 more days to clear the dues in a December 2024 meeting, but no action has been taken.

District Commissioner (DC) Ajay Kumar has urged the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) to take action against the builder.
