Send Money Between Financial Institutions

Transfers may take up to four business days to process, so plan ahead. Only transfers to and from US Financial Institutions are allowed.

You can set up recurring transfers to make regular payments or transfers easier. Options include repeating the transfer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, and so forth.

The charge for transfers is calculated based on the transaction amount, whether your funds are being transferred into or out of a Marine FCU account, and the service type you select.

Your Overall Limit is the total available outstanding amount at a point in time for all types of transactions.

Recurring Transfers

You can set up recurring transfers between your Marine FCU accounts/shares to take place on certain dates. With this feature, you control when you want your transfers to happen, how much you want transferred, how often, and to and from which accounts.

You can even set up an email notification so you know whether your transfer is successful. This is a convenient way to automate your savings or bill payments.

Transfers can be set up to repeat weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, and so on. You can also choose the number of times the transfer repeats.

You'll need to sign up for this feature and select the share involved in the transfer. Transfers to and from US Financial Institutions are allowed, but may require up to four business days to process.

The charge for transfers is calculated based on the transaction amount, whether your funds are being transferred into or out of a Marine FCU account, and the service type you select.

E Check Deposit

E Check Deposit is a convenient way to deposit checks without visiting a branch. You can use the Marine FCU app to deposit personal checks, cashier's checks, convenience checks, and checks issued by Marine FCU.

To get started, sign the back of the check with your name and write "For Mobile Deposit" below it. This is a crucial step to ensure the deposit is processed correctly.

Checks deposited after 4:00 p.m., ET, will be processed the next business day. Marine FCU's check hold policies apply, so be aware of the restrictions.

You'll also need to keep the original check for 30 days. And, unfortunately, you can't deposit money orders using this method.

Security and Alerts

With MFCU online banking, you can enjoy enhanced security features to protect your account. You'll be prompted to establish strong login security, including a strong username and password, and obtain an access code via text or automated voice message each time you log in on an unrecognized device.

You can also set up eAlerts to stay on top of your finances. With eAlerts, you can receive email notifications for things like cleared checks, minimum balance thresholds, and maturing Share Certificates, all with no additional charge.

You'll be prompted to establish login security features when signing in to MFCU@Home, making it safer for you to manage your money online.

To start, the system will review the strength of your username and password. If your current login doesn't meet the security requirements, you'll be asked to create a new username and/or password.

You'll also be required to provide a phone number to receive an access code via text and/or automated voice message each time you log in on an unrecognized computer or mobile device.

Another form of enhanced security offered is Touch and Face ID, providing an additional layer of protection for your account.

EStatements

EStatements are a convenient way to view your account information online. You can access them immediately, without waiting for paper statements to arrive in the mail.

To get started, sign into MFCU@Home and click the eStatements & eNotices tab. From there, select "Paper Opt Out" to begin receiving eStatements.

Once you've opted out of paper statements, you'll receive an email each time a new eStatement is added. This way, you'll always be up to date on your account activity.

Browser Requirements

Online banking can be a bit tricky when it comes to browser requirements. Internet Explorer 11 is no longer supported due to security concerns, so you may encounter issues with functionality.
