Some notable examples of linked companies include Google and YouTube, where Google acquired YouTube in 2006.

The CEO of a linked company may also have a seat on the board of directors of another company, allowing for greater collaboration and shared decision-making.

This can be seen in the case of Microsoft and LinkedIn, where Microsoft acquired LinkedIn in 2016 and Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, serves on LinkedIn's board of directors.
