Transfer Feature
You can send money with Samsung Wallet by using the "Tap to Transfer" or "Tap Transfer" feature. This feature uses NFC technology to connect two Galaxy smartphones and transfer funds.
To use this feature, you'll need to add your bank account credentials to the Samsung Wallet app and enter the amount you want to transfer. Then, hold the back of your phone against the back of the recipient's phone to initiate the transfer.
The recipient's account number is encrypted and only the last four digits are displayed to the sender. This adds an extra layer of security to the transfer process.
You can also set up a primary account for receiving funds, even when your phone's screen is locked. This makes it easy to receive money without having to unlock your phone.
The "Tap to Transfer" feature is currently supported by Woori Bank, and Samsung plans to expand it to other major banks in South Korea by the end of 2024. A global rollout may follow next year.
