Winnie Park was named the new CEO of Forever 21 in 2021, marking a significant shift in leadership for the company. She took over from Do Won Chang, who had been the company's CEO since its founding in 1984.

Park's appointment was a strategic move to revitalize the brand's image and appeal to a new generation of consumers. Forever 21 had been facing declining sales and increased competition from fast-fashion rivals.

Park's experience in the retail industry and her background in finance made her a strong candidate for the role. She had previously served as the company's chief financial officer.
