EY Appoints Di Sibio as Global Chair

Carmine Di Sibio has been elected as the global chairman and CEO of Ernst & Young, effective July 1, 2019.

He succeeds Mark Weinberger, who was elected as EY global chairman and CEO in 2012 and held the position for 12 years.

Di Sibio has been with the firm since 1985 and has held various leadership roles, including global managing partner of client service since 2013.

In this role, he oversaw EY's strategy and led the firm to achieve nearly $35 billion in revenues globally last year.

Today, EY has over 270,000 people in more than 150 countries, and Di Sibio is responsible for the firm's four geographical areas and four service lines.

He also co-chairs the EY Global Diversity and Inclusiveness Steering Committee, which aims to maximize the power of different opinions and perspectives within the organization.
