In 1971, Arden's company was sold to Eli Lilly and Company for $38 million, which is equivalent to $295 million today. This significant transaction marked a major milestone in the company's history.

The company continued to change hands, with Eli Lilly and Company selling it to Fabergé in 1987 for $657 million. This acquisition brought new opportunities for growth and expansion.

Today, Elizabeth Arden, Inc. is a publicly listed company (Nasdaq: RDEN) and is located in Pembroke Pines, Florida, a suburb of Miami. The company continues to thrive, offering a wide range of cosmetics and skin care products.

Past faces of the brand include Vendela Kirsebom, Amber Valletta, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who have all helped to promote the company's products over the years. Peter W. England served as president and chief executive officer for five years, restoring the company's image and profits before resigning in January 2000.

E. Scott Beattie took over as CEO in March 2000 and led the company until Debra Perelman took over on May 23, 2018. Karlina Caune was announced as the new face of the brand on December 2, 2014.
