Selecting Financial Statement Sources

There are two main sources to choose from when selecting financial statements: Refinitiv Financials (formerly Reuters Fundamentals) and Refinitiv Company Fundamentals (RCF). Refinitiv Company Fundamentals is arguably better.

You should be consistent with whichever source you choose to ensure accuracy and reliability. I've found it's best to stick with one source throughout your analysis.

To change the source of financial statements, follow these steps: click the 'My Eikon' head icon at the top-right of any page, then select 'Settings'. In the Settings menu, click the 'Web' button to access the source settings.

Select your preferred 'Fundamentals Source' from the available options, such as Refinitiv Financials or Refinitiv Company Fundamentals (RCF), and click 'Apply' to save your changes.
