The medical examiner's office listed Anna Beaumont's cause of death as accidental caused by drowning.

A 51-year-old man, identified as Douglas Reid, was transported to a local hospital after he was found unresponsive at a pool in Discovery Cove.

Discovery Cove issued a statement saying staff provided care to the guest and contacted Orange County Fire and Rescue.

A man in his 60s was found unresponsive in the theme park pool and later died.

A Scottish man, Doug Reid, tragically passed away at Discovery Cove water park in Florida. He was snorkelling with his family on July 8.

Doug was 51 years old and from Aberdeenshire. He had a heart attack while snorkelling in the water.

Resort staff found him motionless in a pool and pulled him from the water. They then called for emergency personnel to take over care.

Doug was taken to a local hospital but unfortunately passed away. His family is waiting for his body to be repatriated to Scotland.

A spokesperson for Discovery Cove said their staff responded to a medical emergency at 10am on July 8.
