Making Payments

Making payments with City National Bank credit card is easy and convenient. You can make a payment from the City National Bank App or from a web browser.

To make a payment from the app, select the Credit Card Account you'd like to pay from the Account Summary. Press the Pay button to proceed.

You can choose the amount of your payment: Minimum Payment, Statement Balance, Current Balance, or Other Amount. Your payment cannot be more than the outstanding card balance.

To choose the Pay From account, eligible City National Bank accounts will automatically show. If you want to add an external bank account, select the +Add link at the top right.

You can also choose the date you'd like the payment sent and submit it by sliding the control to the right.

Alternatively, you can make a payment from a web browser by signing in to City National Online and selecting the Pay Now option on the Account Summary page.

To make a payment from a web browser, choose the amount: Current Balance, Statement Balance, Minimum Payment Due, or Custom Amount. Your payment cannot be more than the outstanding card balance.

You can also add an external bank account by selecting the Add/Edit Account option.

Finally, select a payment date and then select Make A Payment to complete the transaction.
