Television Channels
Bulgaria ON AIR has a rich history in television broadcasting. The flagship channel was first launched in 1994 as "Mustang TV" - a regional TV channel in Varna.
It was later rebranded as "MSAT" in 1999 after it started satellite broadcasting. This marked a significant milestone in the channel's expansion.
In 2009, the channel's broadcasting was moved to Sofia at the Bulgaria Air airlines headquarters. From there, it began building its national terrestrial network.
Television broadcasting began in 15 cities in Bulgaria in March 2010. This was a major step forward for the channel.
The channel was replaced by the regional TV channel "Cherno More TV" in Varna. This change allowed the channel to focus on its national reach.
On 9 September 2011, the channel was rebranded as a business network under the name "Bulgaria ON AIR". This marked a new direction for the channel.
The channel was relaunched as a flagship television channel on 21 September 2015. This followed the launch of "Bloomberg TV Bulgaria" as a business-economic network in partnership with Bloomberg Group.

Radio Stations
Bulgaria ON AIR got its start as a radio station in Varna on March 22, 1996, under the name "Alpha Radio". It initially had a news profile.
The radio began broadcasting in Dobrich, Shumen, and Varna shortly after its launch.
On March 17, 2007, "Alpha Radio" started broadcasting in Sofia and quickly became a national radio station. It rebranded itself as an electronic music dance radio.
In 2009, the radio was integrated into the media holding of "MSAT" and Bulgaria Air.
The radio was rebranded as the business radio "Bulgaria ON AIR" on September 9, 2011, and was integrated with the television channel of the same name.
"Bulgaria ON AIR Radio" was briefly launched terrestrially in 2012 in Pazardzhik, Pernik, and Targovishte as a placeholder.
