Company History and Development
Briggs Automotive Company has come a long way since its inception in 2010. It started with just four people, including Neill, Ian Briggs, and the founder, and has since grown to involve senior professionals from the automotive industry, motorsport, and finance.
The company has established a management and operations team consisting of highly motivated young professionals. This diverse team has played a crucial role in the company's growth and development.
BAC has developed its supply chain to include 100 active suppliers, sourced 95% of which are from UK-based suppliers. This has allowed the company to reduce its production lead time from over eight months to just five weeks, increasing its production volume from three cars to 50 a year.
Through its growth, BAC has received support from the Mayor of Liverpool and the City Council, which has helped establish the company as an ambassador for the city's global campaign "It's Liverpool."

Organisation's Development Since Joining in 2010
As I joined BAC in 2010, the organisation was still in its infancy, consisting of just four people, including Neill and Ian Briggs.
We've come a long way since then, expanding our team to include senior professionals from the automotive industry, motorsport, and finance, as well as highly motivated young professionals.

The supply chain has been a key area of development, with 100 active suppliers now working with us.
We've also established quality standards both internally and with our suppliers, implemented material management and logistics, and streamlined our order management and build process.
This has resulted in a significant reduction in production lead time, from over eight months for the first car to just five weeks.
We've also increased our production volume from just three cars per year to 50, and established a service and aftersales operation.
Getting everything up and running, including our showroom, office, workshop, warehouse, and assembly area, was a massive challenge, especially with a limited budget.
However, we were able to successfully phase in over 20 new staff, ramp up production, and get our service and aftersales operation off the ground.
Today, we're proud to say that 95% of our suppliers are based in the UK, with 25-30% coming from the Liverpool/Manchester region or the Northwest of the country.
We're committed to supporting regional suppliers, helping them to build up their skills, quality standards, and capacity.
Through our long-term cooperation with suppliers, we're able to create two to three jobs in the supply chain for every job we create inside BAC.

BAC has been present in the US since before 2017, but customers had to import their vehicles until the company opened a dealer in Arizona.
