The Boris and Horton GoFundMe campaign was a massive success, raising over $150,000 to save the NYC Dog Cafe from closure.

This incredible amount of money was raised through the efforts of thousands of donors, who contributed an average of $25 each.

The cafe, a beloved spot for dog owners and their furry friends, was facing financial difficulties due to the pandemic and rising costs.

Boris & Horton, a dog-friendly cafe in the East Village, is fighting to stay open after announcing it would shut down.

The cafe, which opened in 2018, has become a community hub for local dog owners, but struggles with slow sales.

Logan Mikhly and Coppy Holzman, the owners, are trying to raise $250,000 to update the interiors, hire more staff, and buy new air conditioners.

A crowdfunding campaign has raised close to $190,000 so far, with customers pumping donations into the space.

The owners hope to reach their goal and reopen the cafe, saying "If we hit these goals, we'll be back bigger and stronger than ever."
