Bill Ackman's office is located in New York City, specifically at 767 Fifth Avenue, where he is the CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management.

The building is a 54-story skyscraper completed in 1987.

Pershing Square's office is situated on the 42nd floor of the building, occupying around 35,000 square feet of space.

Protest Addressed by Sharpton

Rev. Al Sharpton addressed a protest outside Bill Ackman's office on Thursday, denouncing the hedge fund billionaire's attacks on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs.

Sharpton and his National Action Network (NAN) picketed outside Ackman's office in response to the resignation of Harvard president Claudine Gay, which they saw as the result of Ackman's campaign against her.

The protesters chanted slogans like "Tell me what democracy looks like/This is what democracy looks like" and "No Justice No Peace" to express their opposition to Ackman's stance on DEI.

Sharpton explained that Ackman had declared war against all of them by fighting against DEI programs, which he believed were necessary to equalize the playing field.

Ackman had asked for the entire Harvard board to resign, which Sharpton saw as a scapegoat to fight DEI.

Sharpton and his organization stood up for DEI, which they believed worked to make up for historical denial of rights for marginalized groups like Blacks, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals.

Sharpton emphasized that DEI was not about antisemitism, but rather about promoting equality and fairness.

The building, located at 787 11th Avenue, is a 10-story building that's fully leased.

Ackman's Pershing Square Capital Management has its headquarters across two floors in the building.

The building has received more than $100 million in improvements since Ackman and Georgetown purchased it in 2015.

They paid more than $255 million for the building back then.

The partnership signed the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai to a long-term lease in March.

The medical school took 165,000 square feet at a reported asking rent of approximately $100 per square foot.

The research facility will be used to study genome sequencing and genome development, proteomics and protein engineering, along with gene and cell editing.

The building also has an auto dealership and a laboratory for Neri Oxman, Ackman's wife, as tenants.

The potential sale of the building comes in the wake of the pandemic's major hit on the New York City office market.

The market suffered a 16.6 percent drop in buildings' market value during the last fiscal year.

The $28.6 billion decline was the first of the century for the market.

Ackman is reportedly seeking $630 million for the building.
