Aveos Fleet Performance has seen significant benefits from strategic company changes. The company's commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction has led to improved efficiency and productivity.
By adopting a more agile business model, Aveos was able to respond quickly to changing market demands. This allowed the company to stay ahead of the competition and capitalize on new opportunities.
Aveos' focus on technology and data-driven decision making has also been a key factor in its success. By leveraging advanced analytics and AI, the company has been able to optimize its operations and reduce costs.
As a result, Aveos has been able to deliver high-quality services to its customers while maintaining a strong bottom line.
Company Restructuring
In 2007, ACE Aviation Holdings Inc. unloaded a 70-per-cent stake in Aveos for $723-million.
Aveos was once Air Canada's technical services division but was later spun off as a separate company.
The company's exclusive contract with Air Canada expires in June 2013, and the airline has issued a request for proposals for future contracts.

Air Canada will be able to secure the services of other suppliers for aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
Aveos had plans to shut down its airframe maintenance operations in Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Montreal, resulting in hundreds of layoffs.
The layoffs were a result of the company's decision to get out of the heavy maintenance business.
Air Canada has moved maintenance of landing gear and engines out of Aveos facilities and is subcontracting work to other maintenance providers, including to China.
The airline has also delayed some work until the fall.
Aveos had a workforce of over 2,400 employees before the shutdown.
The company's financial difficulties were a major concern for the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, which had warned of potential job losses.
The union had feared for Aveos' future after Air Canada moved to subcontract some of its work offshore.
Aveos was unable to recover from these financial difficulties, leading to its eventual shutdown.
