Route Suspensions
Avelo Airlines has suspended several routes, including flights to Atlanta and Concord/Charlotte, North Carolina, which will cease after February 27.
The airline has also canceled routes to Wilmington, North Carolina, but flights from Wilmington, Delaware, to Wilmington, North Carolina, remain available for booking until early September.
Some suspended routes include Burbank – Bozeman, Las Vegas – Arcata/Eureka, and Raleigh/Durham – Sarasota, among others.
In addition, Avelo Airlines will exit two routes from Bradley-Hartford, including flights to Concord-Padgett Regional Airport and Wilmington International Airport, starting in April.
The airline's schedule is currently filed until April 29, 2024, inclusive, and certain routes listed as suspended may be resumed in the future.

Suspended Routes
Avelo Airlines has suspended several routes, and it's worth noting that some of these routes are already back on the airline's schedule.
The airline canceled flights to Atlanta and Concord/Charlotte, North Carolina, after February 27, citing low demand.
Avelo will no longer serve the Concord-Padgett Regional Airport and Wilmington International Airport from Bradley International Airport starting in April.
The airline suspended routes from Burbank to Bozeman, Burbank to Colorado Springs, Las Vegas to Arcata/Eureka, Las Vegas to Brownsville, Las Vegas to Dubuque, New Haven to Greenville/Spartanburg, New Haven to Melbourne FL, New Haven to Savannah, and Orlando to Mobile Downtown.
Additionally, Avelo suspended routes from Orlando to Greenville/Spartanburg, Wilmington DE to Daytona Beach, Wilmington DE to Myrtle Beach, and Wilmington DE to Nashville, with some of these routes having been briefly suspended in the past.

Restart Routes in May
Avelo Airlines is restarting two suspended routes from Wilmington Airport in May.
Flights to Wilmington, N.C., and Myrtle Beach, S.C., will resume on May 3 and operate twice a week.
Bookings for these flights are now live, so you can start planning your trip.
These routes were initially suspended due to lower demand in the winter months between Jan. 10 and April 30.
Avelo also used this time to perform maintenance work on its aircraft fleet, which helps reduce costs.
The airline buys used aircraft, which is a cost-effective approach.
Avelo will continue to work with the airport and the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) on more opportunities.

Network Adjustments
Avelo Airlines is making some significant adjustments to its network.
The airline will exit two routes out of Wilmington Airport (ILG) in March, affecting flights to Concord-Padgett and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).
These routes were operated with a 737-800 twice a week and were added in November 2022.
In contrast, Avelo Airlines will continue to serve flights to nine destinations from Wilmington Airport.
This includes new routes to Daytona Beach and Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL), both of which will be served twice weekly.
Avelo Airlines will remain the only airline serving Wilmington Airport after these changes.
The airline's network adjustments are part of a larger effort to refocus its operations.
