2000-E Years

The company laid the foundation for the first small artillery ship in the 21st century, the "Astrakhan", in 2004. This ship was part of the project 21630 "Bujan" type, which featured innovative technology, including a unique steering system and a new artillery system.
In 2006, Almaz built a massive floating fountain complex for the G8 summit, which was placed near the Vasilevsky Island in the Neva River.
The company also developed the "Sobol" project 12200, a high-speed patrol boat that could reach speeds of up to 48 knots and operate in rough seas. This boat was a game-changer in terms of speed and maneuverability.
In 2006, the company received an order to build more "Sobol" patrol boats for Russia's border service and Turkmenistan.
