No matter the sport, quickness, agility and athleticism are integral parts of being successful. With that in mind, CGAA has created a program to work on these skills and increase overall athletic performance. We will be offering this opportunity as a 12 week class, each class is one hour in duration. The 12 week class is offered at $10/hour ($120/session) if you pay for all 12 or $15 per evening. We are limiting the class sizes to 20 per session (up to 2 per night). Athletes will be working through explosion and speed drills, exposing the athlete’s muscles and mind to the level of intensity necessary to increase performance. Classes will take place at Park High School on the track in the Activity Center. Online Registration will be through our website (using NGIN), www.cgaa.org. Sessions will be 6:30-7:30 and 7:30-8:30.
Dates for class are: (Sunday nights) December 10th, 17th, January 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th and February 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, March 4th, 11th.
This program has been developed with USATF, USAW and CSCS certified trainers as well as influence from top sprint trainers in the field. We creates an encouraging, high intensity environment that pushes athletes of all levels to maximize their effort and gains. It is perfect for all levels of players to improve their effort and athleticism.
We are planning on two sessions, the first from 6:30-7:30 and the second from 7:30-8:30. We may adjust these based on the number of participants and their ages. We are excited about the opportunity and hope our members take advantage!
